Often coupled with faith in the Bible. To turn from one's sin/self to the Lord. Old to New.
What does this look like in actual life? Messy life. Life when you do what you do not want to do (rom. 7). Life with addictions. Life with the enemies attacks. Life with "lies".
I would like some truth spoken into this topic. Maybe some experience. Some hope.

I have really enjoyed the line I hear Cal say in one of the first chapels last year, "The conviction of the Spirit is not condemnation but invitation." It holds this idea of care that comes from the Lord about wherever we are in life and will for us to keep trying. Having just taken the mod on Revelation, the messages to the seven churches continue to stick out to me:
-He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death
-To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it
-He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father; and I will give him the morning star
-He who overcomes will this be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name form the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels
-He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name
-He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne
"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches"
I like the story in the bible of a woman who's life was also very messy. I hope you can really take to heart Gods thoughts towards her. He sees her not her mistakes and sins. He calls her to leave guilt behind and just be near Him. Read Luke 7:36 onwards. Thanks for reaching out Hals!
