Hello everyone as you may or may not remember, my Dad's trial starts today, we've been waiting for this day for more than 4 years and it is such a blessing that it has finally come. we are hoping that he will be out by christmas and its also what we are kind of expecting. but we were also expecting him to be out within a couple weeks after going in. it seems everytime we expect something good to happen something goes terribly wrong. but that pattern has changed lately with his lawyer being paid for by the government and him having multiple secured jobs when he gets out. when he does get out the original plan is that he would be living with my family (i dont say me because i am going to school in st catharines) however he seems to have met a girl who is not a believer and she has put the idea into his head that he should go live with her. she is a nice woman and not a horrible influence but he is a new believer and living with a woman who doesn't know God and he is not married to might not be the smartest idea. if he didnt live with my family it would absolutly crush my brother. he has always been closer with my dad than i have and he has missed him in some very important years of his life he has been without a father to look up to for most of his life. so i guess this was a mix of good news and bad news. just wanna ask you guys to be praying for my family and that God's will will be seen by my Dad.

in other news last thursday i went to the first meeting for "campus for christ" one of the two christian groups at my school. i dont know why but for some reason i was expecting a lot more from it than i should have. i thought everyone there would just mesh together immediantly. kind of high expectations i guess. i hope that this group will grow into a family of believers who can turn to eachother in times of need and worship God without shame, together. so if you could just also be praying for that aswell :)

anywhoooo i think that is all peace out brothers and sisters. love you all.

I'll be going to our Father on behalf of your Dad today Matt. I miss you a lot and I'll be praying for you and Campus for Christ... know that many of them will never have experienced such a community/family as you have, so in some ways your calling in that group may to be to take the initiative. But I also saw you take the initiative in Kaleo in many ways, so I know you can do it.

Love you long time.

Matt!
O it is so good to hear from you and to spend some focused time praying for you and thinking of you with this new insight into what's going on in your heart.
You are a beauty Matt, I really do miss you and hope for all His blessings on you and passed through you in this new year ahead. I hope you stand firm in this campus for Christ community and ask for and anticipate more from it as you humbly lead the way.

I am also real excited to hear about what's happening with your dad for the most part. Hallelujah that he may be a free man in the near future. May God's Spirit convict him and lead him into fullness of life as only He can give. Wisdom and much love to you Matt,
Justin
